Where healthy lifestyle meets great taste
For years, I prepared for my workouts like a mini laboratory: I measured out individual active ingredients myself and mixed them together. I knew what I wanted to achieve, but I couldn’t find a ready-to-drink sports drink on the market that would meet the standards of a truly conscious athlete — either in taste or in composition.
What was sold as flavoured was, from a pharmacist’s perspective, full of unnecessary excipients, and what was offered as unflavoured was simply unenjoyable.
As my pharmacy career continued to grow and more of my own product developments successfully performed on the market, a thought came to me mid-workout: if there’s no perfect sports drink, I’ll make one myself. FITRADE grew out of that moment.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS, ZERO SUGAR
I envisioned a drink where every detail serves the athlete: a unique bottle shape with a sports cap, a bold label covering the entire bottle, and ingredient-focused formulas.
The first product family consisted of an alkaline sports water, two fat-burning flavours, and two sports drinks designed to support high muscle output.
The development turned out so strong that in the very year of launch, we won the Sports Drink of the Year award in Hungary — and we were able to repeat this several times in the years that followed.
After the initial successes, I saw a new challenge: how do I reach even more people, more sports, more life situations?
This is how the high amino acid content product family was born for intensive athletes, followed by collagen drinks, which already offered health-supporting solutions for the general population.
This was later followed by new flavours, new functions, and a new sports water.
ONE VISION, PURE DEDICATION
The FITRADE story has thus successfully grown beyond the original gym brainstorm. Today we are present in 10 countries, and we grow our sales steadily year on year. What was once brought to life by my own needs has since become an international brand — and this is only the beginning.
